So let us ask you: What is talent?
According to TB Joshua, talent is one of the characteristics that make every human being peculiar, unique, and different.
What we need to understand is this: every human being, made in the image of God, is endowed with certain talents. Whether you are a believer or an unbeliever, you have been given natural talents.
That is why we often say, “This person can dance,” and another can dance even better. One person plays football well; another plays with exceptional skill. Talent is not dependent on being a Christian. Many unbelievers possess superb talent in various areas.
Ask yourself:
What are those things you do with ease, with joy, and with effectiveness?
As seen in 2 Chronicles 2:13–14, Huram-Abi was a man full of skill and excellence — crafted with ability and insight in various forms of craftsmanship. These natural talents were innate, sharpened by training, and used to contribute meaningfully to God’s work.
Similarly, 1 Peter 4:10–11 reminds us that we are called to steward both our natural talents and spiritual gifts — for the glory of God and in service to others.
