Every person reaches a point in life when nothing else seems to work. You’ve tried everything — in your business, your career, your marriage, your health and yet, breakthrough seems distant. It’s in these moments, when you’re at the end of yourself, that true faith must rise.

Faith isn’t just something we speak about in church; it’s a daily necessity — a driving force that propels us beyond limits, beyond logic, beyond human reasoning. But faith alone is not enough.

In Episode 4 – “The Keys to Activating Faith – Work,” we discovered that true faith is never passive, it demands corresponding action. Faith must partner with action to produce results.

This is the powerful message we learn from the story in Mark 5:25-34 and Mark 10:52. The story of a desperate woman who had been battling a hemorrhage for twelve years.

She was not just another face in the crowd; she was a woman on the edge, holding onto nothing but faith and it changed everything.

As TB Joshua said, “When you run out of rope, it is time to grab unto faith.”

Activating Faith (Work): Lesson from Mark 5:25-34

In Mark 5, we meet a woman who had suffered for over a decade. She had spent all her money on physicians, tried every solution, and yet grew worse. Her circumstance was not just painful; it was hopeless. In her desperation, she saw a glimpse of hope – Jesus.

The Bible says she heard about Jesus. That was the first step. Faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17). But she didn’t stop at hearing. She acted on what she heard. She said within herself, “If I may but touch His clothes, I shall be made whole.

This wasn’t just casual belief. It was a heart decision. She believed with every fiber of her being that Jesus was her last hope and her best one.

She could barely see Him in the crowd only sandals and dusty feet yet she pressed on. In a crowd that was thronging and chaotic, she reached out with desperate faith and touched the hem of His garment.

Who Touched Me?

Jesus, surrounded by people, suddenly stopped and asked, “Who touched Me?” The disciples were confused everyone was touching Him! But Jesus recognized a different kind of touch a touch of faith.

A touch born out of desperation, hope, and relentless belief. That touch pulled power out of Him.

And then came the words that changed her life: “Daughter, your faith has made you whole.” (Mark 5:34)

What a powerful moment! Her faith, combined with her action, moved heaven. Her heart decision became a divine encounter.

Four Lessons from the Woman with the Issue of Blood

Four Lessons from the Woman with the Issue of Blood
  1. She Heard About Jesus
    • Do you have ears to hear the voice of God over the noise of the world? She listened with her spirit, not just her ears.
  2. She Made a Heart Decision
    • Faith begins in the heart. She didn’t wait for ideal conditions; she believed right in the middle of her situation.
  3. She Spoke Faith to Herself
    • “I will live life again. I will be healed.” She kept declaring her healing even before she saw it.
  4. She Took Action
    • Faith without works is dead (James 2:26). She pressed through the crowd against protocol, against the odds and touched Jesus.

Conclusion: Activating Faith (Work)

Maybe you’re at the end of your rope worn out from trying, praying, waiting. That place of exhaustion is often where true faith begins.

Like the woman with the issue of blood, you may feel like you’ve lost everything, but what you still have – faith, is more powerful than you know.

Faith must move. It must reach. It must act. Episode 4 reminds us that faith is only activated through works not just believing in your heart, but acting in obedience to what you believe.

That woman didn’t just sit and hope. She pressed through the crowd, she reached out, and she touched the hem of Jesus’ garment and that simple determined act of faith released her miracle.

God is not moved by emotion, but by faith in action. When you make a heart decision to trust Him not just with words, but with steps of faith you won’t just reach Heaven, Heaven will respond to you.

It’s time to hear, believe, declare, and act. It’s time to let your faith rise again.

In Episode 6, we will explore how love can activate faith. In his teaching on this topic, TB Joshua reminds us that if we do not seem to hear from God, or if our faith appears not to be working, we should examine our love walk.
