God’s time is the best. Time is an important part of life. Everything has its appointed moment, and every purpose unfolds according to a season. One of the greatest lessons we can learn in our walk with God is that His timing is different from ours.
One of the timeless truths taught by Prophet T.B. Joshua is that God’s time is the best. When we learn to align our lives with God’s appointed time, we discover His wisdom, provision and peace in ways that human effort alone can never achieve.
This was not only a teaching but a way of life. He shared from his own experience:
“Each time I do things at God’s time, I don’t look around for the word to say and what to do. They are always around me—what to say, what to do, how to do them. At God’s time, He provides them.”
Once you do things at God’s time, you have the best. At God’s time, everything looks good.
This confidence comes from walking in agreement with God’s will. When we follow His timing, we do not have to depend solely on our own understanding, ability or strength. God provides what is needed for what He has planned.

The Blessing of Doing Things in God’s Time
When we do things according to God’s time, we have the best because His timing is connected to His will, His promises and His purpose. What God does at the right time carries His direction, His provision and His grace.
When we walk according to His timing, we discover that God is always ahead of us. He knows what we need, when we need it and how to bring His purpose to pass.
God’s timing allows His plan to unfold in the right way. What may appear to be a delay can actually be God’s preparation for something greater.
The Struggle of Moving Ahead of God
The struggle begins when we try to move ahead of God’s timing.
When we are not doing things at God’s time, we begin to wrestle, looking for our own words, our own solutions and our own direction. We begin to rely on human reasoning and personal ability.
Doing things in our own time requires our energy, ability and effort. It brings pressure and tension because we are depending on ourselves instead of allowing God to lead.
But whatever is done at God’s time carries divine provision. When God leads, He also provides what is needed for the journey.
His timing is not a denial. It is His preparation.
Faith and God’s Word Help Us Walk in His Timing

Faith cannot be separated from God’s time, His promise and His will.
Many people desire God’s promises but struggle with God’s timing. However, true faith means trusting Him—not only for what He will do, but also for when He chooses to do it.
To say, “I have faith,” means that our faith must be in Him—in His time, His will and His way. Faith is not real without His promise and time. Remember, the will of God is the same thing as the promise of God. You must do things at His time for Him to follow you, be with you, protect you and listen to you.
The Word of God helps us develop this trust. The Word becomes a part of us through meditation. Meditation is not simply thinking; it is turning God’s Word over and over again in our hearts until it begins to influence our conduct and character.
When the Word dominates the heart, it guides our actions and shapes our lives.
There are many teachers and preachers of the Word, but the Word is not part of them. It is only when the Word becomes part of us that we can truly live the Word.
Meditation is of the heart – it is of our spirit. Heart means your spirit. That is, man’s spirit. For your heart to act upon the Word, you must meditate on the Word and turn it over and over again in your heart. That is the only the Word can dominate your heart.
When the Word dominates your heart, influences your conduct and character. Don’t forget that meditation is a visit with God. By meditation, the Word becomes part of you.
Through meditation, the Word becomes alive within us and gives direction for our daily walk with God.
God’s Time Is Always the Best
Life has different seasons. There are times of waiting, times of preparation and times when God’s purpose is revealed. The challenge is not whether God is working, but whether we are willing to trust His timing.
God sees the beginning and the end. He knows what we need, when we need it and how to bring His purpose to pass.
When we surrender our plans to Him and learn to walk according to His time, we discover that His way is always better than our own.
When we do things in God’s time, we have the best because His timing is perfect, His way is sure and everything He does is guided by His wisdom and love. Therefore, we can trust Him completely, knowing that God’s time is always the best.
